Introduction
Introducing in 100 years
In 100 Years
I’ve started a new article series exploring what future technology — and future society — could realistically look like.
This series is a thought experiment about possibility. Not predictions. Not hype. Just careful curiosity. By looking at where we’ve been and where we are now, we can make thoughtful guesses about where we might be going.
Most importantly, this isn’t about abstract futures or billion-dollar corporations. It’s about regular people — people like you. How will work change? Education? Entertainment? Food? Community? What might everyday life feel like in 75 years… or 125?
Despite the name In 100 Years, we’re not locked into a single date. The century mark is a lens, not a rule. Some articles may look further ahead. Some may stay closer to home. And not every piece will focus purely on technology. One week might explore the future of video games. Another might ask whether high schools will still exist in their current form.
The goal isn’t certainty. It’s perspective.
This series will appear across multiple platforms:
As a blog on my upcoming website
As articles here on Facebook
On Mastodon as the account launches
As part of a future newsletter
With companion images and media on Pinterest
More platforms may follow over time.
If you’re curious about how the future might quietly reshape ordinary life, you’re invited to follow along.
The future is unwritten, but we can always choose hope.
